Patrick County is the home of Wood Brothers Racing Team and the homeplace of Civil War Major General J.E.B. Stuart C.S.A. Stuart, Va is just an hour north of Greensboro, Winston Salem High Point Triad in NC and a little over an hour southwest of Roanoke, VA on Hwy. 58. Wayside Park is near the Blue Ridge Parkway in the foothills of southside Virginia.
Directions:
Wayside Park is located 3 miles south of Stuart, Virginia. Heading south from Stuart on Hwy 8, turn left onto Wayside Drive and travel 2 miles, turn left onto Wayside Park Road.
From Martinsville, Danville and points east, follow Rt. 58 through Patrick’s Springs. Turn left onto Rt.727 and follow the signs.
From Winston-Salem, follow Rt. 8 north into Virginia, travel 7 miles, past the High School and turn right onto Wayside Rd, go 2 miles and turn left onto Wayside Park Road.
